What makes you and me different...

  1. Well I was born in New Orleans for one. My parents were former slaves and I was on the brink of tough love and little money. I didn't go to college and get a degree, but I did study with a known college proffessor who taught me how to first play my cornet. I did not have a woman to love until much later in my life as i settled down. Your a performer, and im just some musician.

  2. The main difference between us is that you are a dancer and I am a self made entrepreneur. I was never lucky enough to go to college like you did. I also never had the opportunity to visit Paris. It must be a lovely place. You also had your sister to back you up with your work. Not only did I not have a mother or a father, I didn't have my sister (she wasn't dead, but she wasn't around).

  3. Well, I was faced with the difficulty of growing up in a racist place against my kind. I was never very famous at all while I was still alive. Also, Our careers have very different paths.
